It has taken me a lifetime to write this history of our profession. Advanced copies have been sent to a few selected reviewers. The book covers the realm of public safety history, development of 911 & radio, federal oversight, selection & training of dispatchers, dispatchers in the media, dispatching as a job, major incidents, and the results of the non-scientific survey I did a few years back.
