I am an emergency management student at Drury University as well as a seasoned public safety professional. Currently, I am the Training Manager with Shelby County Emergency Management Communications District. I devise and implement agency policies and procedures related to emergency communications. I also guide and mentor new employees, including remedial training, as the party responsible for every aspect of a new hire for their first year of employment. In addition, I liaise with public officals, emergency personnel, and administrative teams to ensure the agency’s staff training support structure is driving the organization forward.
