Bio

I have worked in law enforcement for over 30 years. I started as a CSO for Mount Prospect, Illinois PD. Then I became a Deputy Sheriff for Mchenry County, Illinois. In 1988, I was hired as a police officer for the City of Des Plaines, Illinois. In 2000, while on vacation in Mexico, I learned a valuable lesson about renting scooters...they aren't very safe or maintained very well. As a result I was involved in an accident that ended my police career. At the time, I was working a side-job with the dispatch Center. This eventually became my new career path and I have embraced the Emergency Communications industry ever since. I am currently the E9-1-1 Director of the Northbrook (Illinois) Police Department. We are a small north suburb of Chicago. I love my new position and look forward to the training and education, not to mention the challenges it will bring.
