Marti Luker is the Communications Training Coordinator for Talladega County 9-1-1 in Talladega, Alabama. She began her career in Public Safety Communications with the Columbus Police Department in April 2008 and began employment with Talladega County 9-1-1 when her family moved to the area in November 2009. She became the Agency's CTC in December 2010. She earned her first APCO Instructor certification in December 2010 for their PST course and has since earned Instructor certification for EMD, Fire Service Communications, and CTO as well. She is her Agency's primary instructor for all APCO courses. Marti believes that learning never stops, that something can be learned everyday from those around her and that it is her duty to serve her Agency and community by being the best Telecommunicator that she can and to train others to be as well.
