My name is Shannon Waldrop and I am the Assistant Director of Communications. I started out at the Lake County Sheriff's Office in 2003 as a 911 dispatcher and within a year was training other new dispatchers. I worked my way up through the ranks as a supervisor all while completing college to finally graduate with my Bachelors Degree. I love being in the position that I am as it gives me daily challenges as well as gratification knowing I have a wonderful group of people who take care of the citizens of lake county. I always like to meet new people and see what others are doing in this wonderful everchanging world of 911!
