Bio

I started dispatching in 1998 for the Osborne County Sheriff's Dept. in Osborne, KS. I became a police officer for the Osborne Police Dept in 1999 to 2001. In 2001 to 2004 I went back to the Osborne County Sheriff's Dept as a Deputy/Dispatcher.

In April 2004 I started working full time for the Mitchell County Communications Center in Beloit, KS as Supervisor and continued to until July 2007 when I became the Interim 911 Director. In Oct. 2007 I became the 911 Director and have been in this position since.

January 1st, 2016, I became the Secretary/Treasurer for the Kansas APCO Chapter. In 2017 my position was split and now the Secretary of the Chapter. I enjoy learning how to be a leader at the State level and represent dispatchers in Kansas at the International APCO level. I am also involved as a chapter leader with our Kansas NENA Chapter.

January 2019 I completed the RPL program and have been helping with the course proctor as needed.
