Thank You Indiana NENA APCO!

By Heather Joyner posted 04-17-2015 09:43

I was truly honored to present 7 Ways to Stop Workplace Drama at this year's Indiana NENA APCO Conference in Indianapolis. While visiting, and networking with fellow colleagues I was blown away at just how unique, but same we all are in dealing with workplace conflict.

Please enjoy the
video of our session, and feel free to share it or reach out if you are interested in bringing this work to your area. (heather@stopworkplacedrama.com)

TESTIMONIALS

"I would like to thank you for such an amazing presentation. I had quite a few ah-ha moments, and have plans to implement some new practices, for myself as a supervisor and hopefully lead by example. First I learned that just because I am a positive person doesn’t mean I am not a part of the drama. I now recognize that even though I am genuinely upbeat and happy at work that I still contribute to the drama by ignoring some of it, participating in it, and reacting inappropriately to it. I believe that drama starts and ends with the leaders, and I plan on taking it on for myself and my agency. I look forward to reading the book and enjoy the training tidbits/articles I receive via email.
- Thank you!!"
Tessa Cupp, Telecommunications Supervisor Coos Bay Police Department

"Where do I start? It was like Heather had been in my communications center. I am so excited to go back and implement some of these "Stop Workplace Drama" ideas.
Terri Brooks, Director, White County E-911

"Heather Vaughan Joyner I just wanted to touch base and let you know how much I enjoyed your presentation yesterday. You put a lot things into perspective and gave me a lot to think about ... And to strive for. Thank you!"
Angela Grogg, Deputy Director, DeKalb County Central Dispatch
