When West Trains East, Part 2

In the August 2009 issue of Public Safety Communications, we published an article by Mark Boudreaux called, “9-1-1 Instructor for Hire: When West Trains East.” The article was a first-person account from the APCO adjunct instructor, who traveled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide public safety telecommunications training at King Abdullah’s University of Science and Technology (KAUST), a brand new, state-of-the art facility on the coast of the Red Sea in Thuwal. In an online exclusive, Boudreaux offers a follow-up to the original story, focusing on the training offered and the first three months of operations at the new center. READ the story at

Sorry about that. Apparently, the redirect isn't working. You can go directly to the story at:

Ms. Losavio,
I just tried the URL you have provided to read this story and it does not work. I am really surprised that we have to go "outside APCO" to read a follow up story of a story we published originally.
I hope that you can fix this problem for all of us. Thank you.
