Ann's Book Club Idea....Who Moved my Cheese

Change is constant in everyone's life rather it be at work or in one's personal life.
One of my favorite courses during my MBA program was on change most liklely because I could relate to the many changes at work. A new radio system, forthcoming new CAD, my role change from a Police Officer to civilian manager and most recently the lock down of the comm. center to our sworn staff and a few minor other changes that we are trying to embed.

On the personal side my oldest son is preparing for his third ployment to Iraq, this is always a difficult time for the familiy.  My youngest son (age 10) adores his oldest brother and said he is willing to face his fears to fly next week to see him off.  Military families do need to adjust each time their loved one is deployed and this is a major change in lifestyle for many.

Rather it be a shift change, a change in the route home or new technology, change can be found everywhere.  I plan on participating in Ann's book club, Who Moved my Cheese, and challenge others going through changes at work or in their personal life to do the same.

Thanks Ann for sharing and reaching out to others.

Regards,
Nancie
