Learn More about APCO Project 33 Certification

The 2010 Program & The Recently Certified

Agency training programs can achieve APCO Project 33 Training Program Certification by meeting or exceeding American National Standards. The Telecommunicator 2010 Program certifies an agency’s training program meets or exceeds the 2010 version of the APCO Minimum Training Standards for Public Safety Telecommunicators. Recognize the efforts of your agency to provide training that meets—or exceeds—these standards. Be the first in your state with certification or join those agencies that are certified!

The 2010 minimum training standards identify the diverse training needs for the different services agencies and telecommunicators may provide, including calltaking and dispatch for law enforcement, fire services and emergency medical services. The certification program is customized for the individual agency, requiring compliance with the minimum training standards for the services provided by telecommunicators within the agency.

If you, or a member of your agency, will be attending the APCO Annual Conference in Houston, don't miss your chance to be the first to find out about the 2010 certification program. Find out how your agency's training program can achieve APCO P33 Certification (Telecommunicator-2010) in the APCO Pavilion on Monday, Aug. 2, at 10:30 a.m. Subject matter experts will be on hand for an hour, available to answer any of your questions and provide free consultation for your training program!

Congratulations to the following agencies who achieved P33 Training Program Certification (Telecommunicator-2006) this year:
