We recently purchased via Cassidian a Vesta SL-100 2.3 with Orion MapStar 5.3. The entire process went very smoothly from the Cassidian & Motorola end. The training and instructures were excellent. There are several CAD systems out there that will work, however, we cannot afford one at the time.

Charlotte - There are several P25 system providers out there such as Motorola, Harris, EF Johnson, Tait and Cassidian just to get you started. The E9-1-1 space is equally diverse with competitors namely Cassidian, Intrado & Zetron for starters and CAD suppliers measure in around 100+ manufacturers. One stop shops like Moto can bring the P25 and CAD systems to bear as well as the E9-1-1 system with their relationship with Intrado. Other integrator type companies that represent multiple manufacturers can also bring together a total system offering that would meet your needs at perhaps a more attractive price point. It really comes down to what you need today, how do you want/need to grown with your technology into the future and of course your capital budget that you have to work with.
