For the past 5 years or so the MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) Fire Organization holds a State Conference for dispatchers and Fire Chief's. The conference was held last week in Peoria, IL and it is a very good good educational opportunity for all levels of Communications personnel as well a very good networking opportunity for all. Glad to hear it will continue next year also. The State APCO and NENA Chapters arrange joint meetings to coincide with the holding of the conference for the last several years also. - Ed
