It seems that the opportunities abound lately for NM and NM Dispatchers, and it has been a real pleasure that REDA has been able to be so instrumental in all of these projects and changes.
Not too long ago I posted about the BIA PST Academies. Now after finishing the beta test for the State of NM for use of PST I at at that state level for PST Academies, we are moving forward and will be training the first cadre of PST I instructors the first week in February 2014! The first academy in Santa Fe will be using PST I in March 2014.
NM DPS personnel, REDA, APCO and several agency reps will be meeting in Albuquerque tomorrow and the development of this working relationship between the state and APCO is so wonderful! I couldn't be more pleased and I predict very good outcomes as NM moves in this direction!
