APCO’s Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) Program, don’t wait to begin your application. The deadline to apply for class 05 of the CPE Program is May 15.
The six-month program consists of two online courses and a nine-day capstone seminar at APCO Headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida.

- Models/theories of leadership
- Leadership styles
- Public safety leadership issues
- Executing and managing change
The program is open to anyone who is a Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL), possesses an associate’s degree or above or has a high school diploma and at least 10 years’ experience in public safety communications at the supervisor, manager or director level.
