Applications are now being accepted for the Winter 2017 session of APCO’s Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) Program, scheduled to begin January 4, 2017. The CPE Program consists of two, 12-week online classes and one nine-day capstone course at APCO’s headquarters in Daytona Beach, FL. The Winter 2017 session will conclude July 15, 2017.
Drawing on resources from renowned leadership professionals and distinguished academic sources, the CPE Program allows participants to explore topics that include management versus leadership, model/theories of leadership, leadership styles, public safety leadership issues, and executing and managing change. Program graduates earn the professional designation of Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE). The application deadline for the Winter 2017 session is October 16, 2016.
