I am a Washington native, growing up in Anacortes and Bainbridge Island. After graduating from Bainbridge High School in 1974, I attended North Seattle Community College, earning AS Degrees in Electronics Engineering Technology and Communications Electronics. In 1981 I moved to New York City to attend New York University and graduated with BS in Music Technology. I worked as a Broadcast and Audio Engineer in NYC until 1994, when I moved back to Bainbridge Island. After a brief stint in Information Technology for a Seattle systems integrator, I joined The Sales Group, Inc., as a Sales Associate in 1995 and became a partner in 2004.
I serve as Commercial Representative for the Washington APCO/NENA Chapter, Secretary for the Western Washington Regional Interference Committee, and on the Board of Directors of the Communications Marketing Association. I have been a Commercial member of APCO since 1995 and am a Fellow of the Radio Club of America. As an avid amateur radio operator, I serve as Vice President and Chief Operator of the Bainbridge Island Amateur Radio Club and volunteer with the Bainbridge Island and Kitsap County Emergency Management Departments.
