Bio

Any and all statements made by me are mine, and mine alone. They are not statements made on behalf or associated with any organization, association, department, or agency I work for or with unless otherwise stated in the statement.

I am a Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) certified Public Safety Telecommunications Instructor with over twenty-eight years of diverse public safety experience, sixteen of those years in Public Safety Telecommunication with ever increasing responsibilities. Upon successful completion of the Public Safety Telecommunicator Instructor and Fire Service Communications Instructor certification courses from the Association of Public-Safety Communication Officials International (APCO), I have spent eighteen of those years as a Public Safety Telecommunications Instructor, training students in the best practices of public safety telecommunications.

I was chosen over hundreds of other professional Public Safety Communications Officials to dispatch for the Utah Olympic Public Safety Command at the XIX Olympic Winter Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2002. My position contributed to Homeland Security and the ultimate protection of athletes, diplomats, host of international spectators, and the community of Salt Lake City, Utah area.

I served the United States, working as the Area Support Group - Kuwait Fire & Emergency Services Communications Center Manager, protecting the U.S. military, providing a safe and secure environment while they fight the War against Terrorism.

Starting in 2011 I became an Instructor at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield CT, where I developed, coordinated, and instructed the Public Safety Telecommunications Program. The program ended in 2015 when I moved back to Massachusetts.

I am currently certified to teach the following APCO courses at the agency level, PST1, FSC, LEC, EMD Concepts, CTO, and CCS.

I am currently the Communications Dispatcher II (Supervisor) at a state college here in Massachusetts and I am contracted to develop training programs for various public safety communications entities.

I am currently enrolled at the University of Massachusetts, University Without Walls where I am studying to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Public Safety Administration in 2022. I am also obtaining various certifications with FBI-LEEDA.
