Deranecque is a 20+ years public safety veteran. She presently serves as Director of the newly consolidated Crittenden County Emergency Communications Center where she works to promote personal and professional development, clear and transparent communication, center advancement, and positive employee engagement. Mrs. Sims is a Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) and has earned both NENA's Emergency Number Professional (ENP) certification and Center Management Certification (CMCP). She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Christian Brothers University.
Deranecque currently serves as Chair of the APCO Professional Development Events Committee and a member of the Emergency Communication Center (ECC) Key Performance Indicators Working Group.
She is passionate about career development, continuing education, and community engagement. She adores her family, friends and peers, each of whom she considers to be true blessings.
