I began my career in Public Safety in 1990 as a dispatcher for the Police Department in Helen, GA. After two years there I was privileged enough to become a police officer in the town. Several years later I went back to dispatching for the newly started E-911 Center for White County, GA. Later I went on to become the Director and Deputy Emergency Management Director there. As my career advanced I later went back into policing at a University in the North Georgia area. That position lead me to where I am today - at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as their Dispatch Manager.
I have been a member on and off since 1993. I am currently the Chapter Executive Council representative.
