Sue Fallon-Bonnick -Senior 911 Supervisor for the City of Minneapolis. I started in Public Safety Nov 2, 1981. I started as a Telecommunicator, commonly called a TC. It was not until December 1982 that 911 came to Minnesota. I promoted to a Police/Fire Dispatcher after a year as a TC then worked as a dispatcher for 12 years. I then promoted to assistant Supervisor and then was promoted to Senior Supervisor after a year. In all the positions I have held I enjoyed training the most and encourage individuals to be the best they can be. What I find the most challenging is the constant updates to technology and the impact it has on our abilities to promote the best Public Saftey Assistance that is possible. I still remember the old punch cards and the ticker tape.
