Bio

Shantelle Oliver joined the Tarrant County 9-1-1 District November 2018 and serves as the Director of Support Services. As Director of Support Services, Shantelle oversees 9-1-1 telephony, finance, public education, training, and general PSAP support services. Shantelle has over 18 years of PSAP experience. She started her career as a dispatcher in Shreveport, Louisiana before arriving at the Irving Police Department in January 2001. At Irving, Shantelle advanced up the ranks from Communications Training Officer, Senior Dispatcher, and Communications Supervisor.


Shantelle's education includes a Bachelors's degree in Criminal Justice.She is a certified TCOLE instructor, TERT (Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce) instructor, and an Associate Trainer which allows her to teach NCIC/TCIC related courses. These certifications have allowed her to expand her skills into the teaching realm where it has afforded her the opportunity to travel within the state as well as outside of the state of Texas as a Contract Instructor. She most recently attended APCO's six-month intense leadership course, Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE). 

In her spare time, she is a Professional Disc Jockey.
