I have worked in the public safety telecommunications field since 2002. Prior to that, I worked on board ambulances in New York City and the surrounding metropolitan area.
I have been with the Rockland County Sheriff's Office since 2004. We are a multi-jurisdictional PSAP serving two law enforcement agencies, twenty-six fire departments, and three EMS agencies. We're answering about 109,000 911 calls and 85,000 seven-digit calls per year (2017). In my current position, I manage a staff of 25 dispatchers and supervisors.
