I began my career in dispatching in March 2015 at Gallatin County 911. In May 2020, I assumed the role of Training Manager for Gallatin County 911, where I focus on enhancing emergency response capabilities for all dispatchers, not just trainees.
My dedication to excellence was recognized with the Montana APCO Trainer of the Year award in 2021.
In 2021, I spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive 911 training manual that adheres to national standards. This achievement was acknowledged at the 2023 APCO International Conference, where we received a plaque for successfully completing this challenging task.
Additionally, I completed the NENA Center Manager Certification Program in 2020. In January 2023 I graduated from APCO's RPL program. As a people-driven leader, teaching about 911 is my passion.
Since July 2022, I have been teaching at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA) and continue to volunteer in the 911 industry wherever I can. I was honored to be elected Montana APCO Western Ambassador in December 2022, furthering my commitment to advancing public safety communication practices and the dispatch professionals of Montana.
