17 years in Dispatch... Oh where does the time go... when i applied for my first dispatch job in Cherokee OK. I though this will be an easy job, answer some calls send people places no big deal right. WRONG!!!! I was ignorant of what this job entailed and how much i would come to love it. I never finished college because this is what i was meant to do. My only regret is that I didn't find it years ago, before i waisted my time and money going to school. 17 years later i still love it. i have 2 children. I was a single mother so you can imagine what their lives were like lol. We made it through and they are grown. Now i want to give back to the job that has given me so much. I want the world to know we are here. I want kids in elementary school to say i want to be a dispatcher when i grow up
