I am a telecommunications officer with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana. We are located in Lake Charles, LA in the South West region of the state. I function as a call taker and perform various duties related to patrol and NCIC. I have been in Public Safety Communications since 2003 and I absolutely love my job. I take a special interest in public education and also continuing education related directly to dispatch and response to calls involving crisis negotiations and domestic violence.
