Started in Public Safety in 1981. I am currently the Director of our Center and have been for 18 years. We are the County in between San Francisco and San Jose in CA and serve a population of 800,000. We dispatch 58 fire stations, the Sheriff's Office, 7 law enforcement contract agencies and the countywide ambulance service. We have 8 staff, 24x7, for a total of 40 Dispatchers and 11 Management/Supervisory/Adminstrative personnel.
