Having started in public safety in 1987, I came to the communications side in 1997 as a Dispatcher. I became a Supervisor in 2003 and a Training/Quality Assurance Officer in 2007. I earned a BA in Human Resource Management in 2007 and earned a Masters in Public Administration in 2010. In 2013, I fulfilled a longtime goal of becoming a director when I was selected as the Executive Director for Hamilton County (IN) Public Safety Communications.
While I was very active in the Missouri Chapter of APCO as the Executive Council Representative as well as the Legislative Committee Chair, I am now going to be a part of the Indiana Chapter and look forward to meeting and working with new people there.
In addition to the above, I serve on the APCO International Bylaws Committee and hold the E.N.P. designation from NENA.
